Strideby provides group co-working sessions, paid private 1-on-1 sessions with independent creators, an application tracker, messaging, and public profiles. You must be at least 16 years old to use Strideby.
You are responsible for your account and for what you share in sessions, chat, and messages. Be respectful. We may suspend or remove accounts for harassment, impersonation, spam, recording sessions without consent, or other abuse. Group sessions are camera-on, mic-off spaces — treat them like a shared workspace.
Creators on Strideby are independent — they are not employees or agents of Strideby. Mentors share guidance based on their own professional experience. Sessions and content on Strideby are not legal, immigration, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice, and creators are not acting as regulated advisers. For decisions with legal or financial consequences (including visa applications), consult a qualified, regulated professional.
Creators must represent their experience truthfully. Misrepresenting credentials is grounds for immediate removal.
Private sessions are paid in advance through Stripe. Strideby retains a 10% platform fee; the remainder is transferred to the creator after the session. If a creator does not attend within 10 minutes of the start time, you are refunded automatically in full. Other refund requests are reviewed case by case — contact support.
Creators receive payouts via Stripe Connect and are responsible for their own taxes.
You keep ownership of what you write on Strideby. You grant us the licence needed to display it within the product (for example, showing your intentions to others in a session). Video and audio are transmitted in real time and are not recorded by Strideby.
Strideby is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, for the conduct or advice of creators and members, or for outcomes of job, university, or visa applications. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@strideby.com.
